Patiala: Cops bust gang of bike lifters

PATIALA

: The city police on Monday busted

a gang of bike lifters

with arrest of two persons. Deputy superintendent of the police Yogesh Kumar said the Civil Lines police had setup a check post near the railway crossing Number 22 on Saturday.

Upon checking the documents, it was found that they were riding a

stolen motorcycle

. They were immediately arrest. The accused have been identified as Rahul Pandey, a resident of Pratap Nagar, and Dhiraj Kumar alias Bakra, a resident of Dhaliwal Colony.

The DSP said a case has been registered.
