“Although the case is directly linked to fraud, police were still investigating the case,” said Naraingarh SHO Kamaljeet Singh.

informed that the accusations were found to be true, following which police were informed and a case of fraud was lodged. “The accused has been running the hospital illegally and playing with the lives of innocent people,” said SMO Dr Ram Prakash.Meanwhile, acting on the complaint, police have registered a case under Section 336 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 420 (cheating) of the IPC and under 15 (2), 15 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
