AMRITSAR: Moments after walking out of jail on getting bail in a case related to possession of unlicensed firearms within a week of his arrest in Canada, Khalistani extremist Inderjeet Singh Gosal issued a threat message against India.
In a video recorded outside the Ontario Central East Correctional Centre on Friday, Gosal — a close associate of designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun of banned US-based Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), said, "I'm out to support Gurpatwant Singh Pannun and to organise the Khalistan Referendum on Nov 23, 2025." He later raises a slogan in a high-pitched voice, "Delhi banega Khalistan (Delhi will be Khalistan)".
Pannun, who is also seen in the clip, says that Gosal is en route to Ottawa to help organise the referendum event.
In the video, Pannun issues a pointed warning to national security adviser Ajit Doval. "This is my message to Ajit Doval and to the Modi govt. Why don't Ajit Doval you come to Canada, America, or any European country and try to arrest or do any extradition? Doval, summons are ready for you, and I am waiting for you."
