Punjab panchayat elections: 1 injured in shootout at Tarn Taran

TARN TARAN: One person was injured in a reported shootout outside a polling station in Tarn Taran during the panchayat elections on Tuesday.
According to police reports, the incident occurred in Sohail Sen Bhagat village, where voters were queuing to cast their ballots.
A local resident, Buta Singh, informed that one person sustained injuries following a scuffle between two groups, though he could not confirm whether the injury was caused by a gunshot or a sharp object.
The injured person was rushed to a private hospital.
Police have arrived at the scene, but no arrests have been made so far.
