The move would also help update management information system of the CHB, said a senior official in the IT department.
"We are integrating the back-end operations with the required software. We hope to launch the service by December-end. This will allow residents to go to the nearest Sampark Centre and deposit instalments there," a senior IT official told TOI.
He said other logistics to strengthen the system were being worked out and they would soon have this information displayed both at the bank branches and the Sampark centres.
Confirming the development, a senior official of the UTI Bank said though the move would help residents and the bank also in distributing the load, the seven branches (including one each at Derabassi and Baddi) were able to handle around 5,000 transactions a month valued at around Rs 4 to 5 crore.

"At times, we organise extension counters for the customers. We support the e-governance measure of the administration as this would be an additional facility to the residents. Already, the collection of ground rent and instalments of the CHB are online," said the bank official.
Ashok Khanna, a resident, said: "I am old and my son is away. I would save time if this facility comes near my house."
