AMBALA: Chamoli police have arrived in Ambala and initiated their search for Jasvir Singh, the main suspect in the murder of mother-daughter duo at a hotel in Uttarakhand. However, they are yet to get a breakthrough in the case.
Bodies of two Sikh women, Jaswinder Kaur and her 17-year-old daughter Simran were found in a pool of blood at a hotel in Govindghat of Chamoli district, Uttarakhand on Tuesday.

According to police, Jasvir Singh, husband of Jaswinder had allegedly murdered them. However the motive behind the murders are still unknown.
Ambala police said, a police team from Chamoli has come to Ambala city to trace Jasvir who had been living with his family in a rented house in Sector 9 of the city. Chamoli police got hold of Jasvir's bank account details and went to his address, House no. 599/1, Sector 9 but have failed to find him. They have put a blockade around the house and posted a police team in order to nab him when he comes.
Police also interrogated the acquaintances of the deceased but failed to find any lead. SP Abhishek Jorwal said, "Chamoli police are getting full assistance from us. Man-hunt for Jasvir Singh is still on."
