No Gayle, it's Miller storm
MOHALI: Spectators here had come to watch Chris Gayle bat. They weren't disappointed as the West Indian treated them to some amazing strokeplay in the first half of the match. The Caribbean maestro scored a whirlwind 61 off just 33 balls and laid the platform for a huge total. In the end, Bangalore posted 190/3 in their allotted 20 overs.
It seemed that Bangalore would cruise through the match especially after David Hussey threw away his wicket.

But, David Miller had different plans as he smashed a century off just 38 balls and hit 7 sixes much to the joy of the spectators. Miller overshadowed Gayle and his powerful hitting was something that didn't come out of the blue.
Even against the Pune Warriors, Miller had played a similar inning, helping his side snatch a win. It was dejavu as Miller flayed the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Team co-owner Preity Zinta couldn't stop showering praises on his exploits. Hussey said the team's plans will revolve around Miller from now onwards. This century will now go down in the annals of history books, not only for the sheer entertainment it provided but also the courage shown by Miller and for pulling his team out of a tight spot.
