Harvinder Singh, one of the three brothers, said they had not been able to get justice from the local administration. He also expressed anguish with Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) for not even taking note of the incident. “It has been over two weeks since a group of Muslim residents thrashed us and our mother, but police have not taken any action despite FIR”.

A Muslim group from Mohalla Bal Leela, Gurdwara Patti Sahib Chowk, Nankana Sahib, had a brawl with Harvinder, and his brothers Satinder Singh and Daler Singh, all from the same area, over a wheelbarrow filled with cow dung. The brothers had appealed to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to protect the minority communities and asked Sikhs to get them justice.
