Newborn found dead in Rajgarh hosp washroom

Shimla: A newborn's body was found in a washroom at Rajgarh Civil Hospital on Wednesday morning. Around 8.30am, a sanitation worker spotted a suspicious object on the toilet seat while cleaning and alerted hospital staff after finding it was an infant. Block medical officer Dr Upasana confirmed the incident, stating that the body has been sent to Nahan Medical College for post-mortem examination. Police recorded staff statements and are reviewing the footage of CCTV cameras.
