Neighbours lock couple in house

Chandigarh: Police have booked neighbours of an elderly couple for allegedly locking them in their house over a dispute on an entry gate in Sector 40. Gurbachan Singh Uppal, 82, said he lives with his wife, a cancer patient on the ground floor. He said he had started construction of an entry gate for their security. However, Pritam Das and his family members living on the top floor allegedly started harassing them by parking their car in a manner that the construction could not take place, he alleged. Uppal alleged he heard some noises outside his house at 5 am and found the accused had allegedly locked them inside their house.
