Ambala: Harkesh Singh Mohri from Ambala district has been appointed Haryana state president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) by party president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday.Announcing the development, Sukhbir Singh Badal wrote on his social media, "Pleased to announce the appointment of Harkesh Singh Mohri as Haryana state president of the Shiromani Akali Dal. The name was recommended by Balwinder Singh Bhundar, observer for Haryana state, after detailed consultations with the party's Haryana unit. Harkesh Singh Mohri is a hard-working and dedicated soldier of the party. I am confident that he will discharge his new responsibilities with utmost commitment and will play a key role in further strengthening the Shiromani Akali Dal in Haryana."About his appointment, Mohri said, "I am thankful to the party for entrusting the responsibility to me to strengthen the organisation in Haryana.
