MLA Som Parkash protests over parking site

PHAGWARA: Local MLA Som Parkash of the BJP staged a dharna at a multi-storey parking site on Banga road on Thursday to protest delay in its opening. He said the parking had already been completed but it was still not being opened, making people suffer. As the protest continued in the parking building for around two hours, Phagwara municipal corporation commissioner gave it in writing that he had spoken to principal secretary (local government), who would consult the minister and the parking would be dedicated to the public in a week.
