Minister felicitates meritorious student

Sangrur: Punjab minister Barinder Kumar Goyal felicitated Japneet Kaur, a student of Government Middle School, Arakwas, at Lehragaga in Sangrur, as part of the Punjab govt's efforts to encourage students and raise education standards. Japneet secured second position across the state by scoring 598 out of 600 marks in the Class VIII examinations conducted by the Punjab School Education Board. She also secured third position in the 200-meter race at the National School Games. The minister congratulated Japneet Kaur and said her achievement reflected her hard work and the guidance of her parents and teachers. He said the Punjab govt was improving infrastructure in govt schools, including smart classrooms, modern laboratories and other advanced facilities, to provide students with a high-quality learning environment.
