Man using IAF official’s ID to carry out frauds

Chandigarh: The cyber cell of the police booked an unknown person for allegedly trying to dupe people on OLX by using the identity card of an IAF official. G Vinod Kumar of IAF station, Sector 31, alleged a man was using his ID that he had sent to him while he was trying to buy furniture the man had advertised on the online platform for sale of second-hand goods.Kumar said he then came to know that the man who called himself Promod Kumar was a cheat and deleted his conversations with him. Later, he found the man was fraudulently using his ID to try and cheat others. On his complaint, police registered a case.
