Man held with heroin

Chandigarh: Police have arrested a 32-year-old man after 276 gram of heroin was allegedly recovered from him in Sector 37. Police said the accused is Anil Mukhiya of Dhanas. Cops said he tried to flee on spotting a patrol party but was chased and caught with the drugs.
Gold stolen from house
Gold and silver ornaments were allegedly stolen from a house in Raipur Khurd, police said on Tuesday after registering a case.Owner Kiran Sarkar alleged a bag containing three gold rings, a pair of gold earrings and other items was stolen on November 30.
Missing boy traced
A team of 60 cops traced a missing four-year-old boy within 12 hours of receiving a complaint. Hem Singh of Makhanmajra, reported his son went missing from near his house at 7 pm on Monday. The boy was recovered on Tuesday morning. tnn
