Laptop stolen from car, 1 held

Chandigarh: The crime branch arrested a Manimajra resident for allegedly stealing a laptop and computer accessories from a car parked in Sector 19 on Friday. Cops said the accused is Amit Kumar (22). Vinod Kumar, a resident of Sector 30, reported he runs a cloth shop in Sector 19. He went to his shop and parked his car near a temple. He said he kept his laptop bag in the car.When he reached his car, his bag containing the laptop, charger and documents was stolen. The window of the vehicle were not broken. During investigation, police claimed they received a secret information that the accused was going to sell the stolen laptop in Sector 22 market on Friday. A trap was laid and the accused reached there, cops caught him . tnn
