Kurali school girl Mohali topper

MOHALI: The Punjab School Education Board declared its Class X results on Monday. Out of the 430 students making it to the merit list, Mohali district ranked 18th consisting of six students from the district.
Swati Kalia of DAV Model Senior Secondary School, Kurali, was the district topper securing 94% and ranking 17th in the merit list.
Neeraj Yadav of Acharya Atma Ram Jain Modern Senior Secondary School stood second in the district securing 93.85% and ranking 18th in the merit list.Parneet Kaur of Baby Modern Senior Secondary School stood third in the district securing 93.69% and ranked 19th in the merit list. Swati's mother Usha Devi said, "She had always stood first since childhood and I am very happy with her result. She always self study and never took tuition lessons."
Neeraj's mother Chandra Kala Devi said, "We all are very happy with his performance. He is a very hardworking child. He did not take up tuitions and took just a month's guidance before exams."
In all over Punjab, a total of 430 students made it to the merit list. Out of these, 126 were from Ludhiana city alone, while 3 out of them bagged the top 5 positions.
