and their daughter will campaign for the party’s CM face Bhagwant Mann in his constituency Dhuri on Friday. Mann told media persons on Thursday that Kejriwal’s family, besides Mann’s mother and sister, will join the party’s programme for women voters — Lekha Mawan Dhiyan Da. “It will not be a political event and there will be a brainstorming session on the issues of women and the party will take suggestions and feedback,” he said.

Sunita tweeted that she was going (to Dhuri) with her daughter to seek votes for her brother-in-law (Mann). Mann also tweeted: “Bhabhi ji, welcome to Punjab... people of Dhuri are eagerly waiting for you…”



Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi too is likely to hold a rally in Dhuri on February 13 . Dalvir Singh Goldy is the sitting Congress MLA from Dhuri and is pitted against AAP’s Bhagwant Mann. The party is also planning to hold events of Rahul Gandhi in Qadian & Hoshiarpur early next week. Rahul has held two virtual rallies in Punjab from Jalandhar and Ludhiana. Meanwhile, Congress appointed Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Singh Hooda and party leader Rajiv Shukla as special observers for elections.   It comes a day after the party appointed MP from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu as the chairman of the party’s election management committee of Punjab.
