JJP youth wing to hold Hansi rally on Ajay Chautala’s birthday
Kurukshetra: The state executive meeting of the youth wing of the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) was held on Saturday at the Punjabi Dharamshala in Kurukshetra, where senior party leaders charted out organisational strategies and announced a political programme in the coming months. Former deputy chief minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala, youth JJP state president Digvijay Singh Chautala and JJP state president Brij Sharma were present at the meeting. During the meeting, senior leaders addressed youth office-bearers from across the state and provided clear guidance on strengthening the organisation, actively connecting the youth of Haryana with the JJP, and taking the party's policies and ideology to the grassroots level. Emphasis was laid on energising the youth cadre and expanding the party's outreach at the booth and district levels.
Addressing the media after the meeting, Dushyant Chautala said that several important decisions were taken during the state-level deliberations. He announced that a large rally would be organised in Hansi district on March 13 on the birth anniversary of Ajay Singh Chautala. The event will be observed as Yuva Prerna Diwas (Youth Inspiration Day), and preparations are already set in motion to make it a grand and impactful programme, he said.Dushyant Chautala also strongly criticised the BJP-led Haryana govt over rising crime and unemployment in the state. He expressed serious concern over the new UGC regulations and thanked a Supreme Court Judge for taking strict cognisance of the matter. He said that the youth of Haryana are deeply disappointed with the present govt but are now ready for every democratic struggle.Taking a dig at the Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, Chautala said that while the chief minister is travelling across the country, development is not visible on the ground in Haryana. Even after more than 1 year in office, no major development project was announced for Kurukshetra, which is projected as the chief minister's city, he alleged. He further accused the govt of cutting old-age pensions and forcing widows and differently abled women to make repeated rounds of offices for their rightful benefits.Dushyant Chautala also remarked that the CM is spending more time in Punjab than in Haryana and should instead focus on the state's development and progress.Ends MSID:: 127821457 413 |
