CHANDIGARH: Three students from the Tricity scored more than 99 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Session 1, 2023, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.
Moulik Jindal, a resident of Sector 15, Chandigarh, and a student of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, and Raghav Goel, a student of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, and a resident of Sector 46, Chandigarh, scored 99.99 percentile, while Gunveen Gill, a resident of Sector 38, Chandigarh, and a student of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Chandigarh, scored 99.98 percentile. The three said they used to study 10 to 12-hours a day.
Over 150 students across the Tricity scored more than 95 percentile. A private coaching centre head said a student requires to be sincere towards his/her studies and should follow all the instructions given to them in letter and spirit. Another private coaching centre director said it is a proud moment for the Tricity as many students have scored top rankings.
