Invested stolen ₹13 lakh in Bitcoins, 3 Maha men held

Chandigarh: The cyber cell have arrested three people from Maharashtra for allegedly duping a Sector 41 resident of Rs 12.65 lakh and investing the money in buying Bitcoins. The accused are Atish, Sanjay and Ayush.
Rahul Rawat, a resident of Sector 41, reported his father had sent him to Axis Bank in Sector 17 to withdraw money from his account on February 1. However, he found that there was no money in the account.Rawat said when he checked his bank statement, he was shocked to find that some unknown person had withdrawn 12.65 lakh in three transactions from his account on January 28, 29 and 30. While trailing the transactions, police identified the accused and nabbed them.
