Indore–New Delhi train extended to Hisar
Hisar: Haryana's public works and public health engineering minister Ranbir Gangwa on Thursday flagged off the extended service of Indore–New Delhi–Indore train at Hisar railway station. With the extension, the train will now operate up to Hisar, improving rail connectivity for the region.Addressing the gathering, Gangwa said the train would run on a new route passing through Hansi, Meham and Rohtak, which was expected to reduce travel time and provide passengers with faster and more convenient rail connectivity. He added that both the Central and state governments were continuously working to strengthen rail and road infrastructure across Haryana.Describing the extension as a significant development for the region, Gangwa said the move would benefit passengers from Hisar and nearby areas by providing improved access to long-distance rail services.Meanwhile, Hisar MLA Savitri Jindal said residents had long been demanding the extension of the Indore–New Delhi train to Hisar. With the launch of the extended service, passengers from Hisar and surrounding districts would now have direct rail connectivity, reducing the need to change trains at other stations, she added.
