With the onset of Navratas, kitty parties in the city are going vegan. Women are preferring pure vegetarian venues serving special Navratra food.
Pooja Grover, who hosted a party on the very first day of Navratras, shared, "We all were very particular about the venue as it was Navratra kitty; we did not want to opt for a place where non-vegetarian is served.

And yes, we chose a place that offered Navratra thalis in kitty package."
Tina, a member shared, "Navratras kick off the festive season and vrat (fast) food is so rich that we enjoyed every bit of the party. We discussed about the upcoming festivals and buying new things for home-from cars to gold. It is the beginning of merrymaking and getting together with your friends on the very first day of the festival felt great."
The Navratra thali at the party was a mouth-watering fare. The extensive thali consisted of kadhi, aloo sabji, cheese tomato, paneer, rice, pudhi, vegetable and fruit salad. For dessert, there was sabudana kheer.
Kitty party member Shruti Nanda shared, "Navratra food is a complete treat to your taste buds. I love kadhi and sabudana kheer."
Not only members who were fasting, those who were not fasting too couldn't resist the sumptuous spread. Among them was Niti. "Even though I had a full menu open to me, I went for Navratra food as it is not something we get to eat every time. Secondly, it is so mouth-watering!"
