IAS officers’ transfers

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Sunday transferred 12 IAS and two PCS officers. While Abhinav will take over as commissioner of the Ludhiana municipal corporation, Manikant Prasad Singh has been posted as the additional chief secretary-cum-financial commissioner, taxation, as well as the additional chief secretary, technical education and industrial training; G Vajralingam becomes additional chief secretary parliamentary affairs; Sanjay Kumar principal secretary labour as well as principal secretary medical education and research; Jaspal Singh, as principal secretary water resources, Vikas Pratap, as secretary tourism and cultural affairs, Kamal Kishore Yadav as director treasury and accounts as well as managing director Punjab State Warehousing Corp Ltd.Jaskaran Singh is now director hospitality, Amit Kumar has been posted special secretary housing and urban development and Karnesh Sharma is the director, local government.
