'Hold videography of polls'

CHANDIGARH: Independent councillor Kuljeet Singh Bedi on Tuesday filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana high court seeking videography of Mohali mayoral elections for its free and fair conduct. Bedi also sought directions to hold the polls under the supervision of an observer. Bedi expressed apprehensions that unfair means could be used in the elections as the date was fixed in a short period.The petition would come up for hearing on Wednesday before a division bench of Justice Surya Kant.
