Hockey icon loses wife

Chandigarh: Former Indian hockey captain, Olympian Ajit Pal Singh’s wife Kiran Ajit Pal Singh passed away on Saturday. Kiran, 69, died in New Delhi after suffering a brief illness. She is survived by her husband and two sons. Her last rites will be performed in New Delhi on Sunday.
