Hindi poet breathes his last at 93

Hisar: Noted Hindi littérateur, 93-year-old Udaybhanu Hans, a well-known poet, died on Tuesday night at his residence at Lajpat Nagar in Hisar.
His son Shashi Bhushan Hans confirmed the death of his father on Tuesday night. Earlier, Hans was admitted in the hospital for nearly a week. Three days ago, he was discharged from the hospital.
Hans was born on August 2, 1926, in village Dayara Din Panah of Muzaffargarh district of Multan (Punjab) state of Pakistan.His father Pandit Vishwanath Sharma was Saraswat Brahmin, a renowned Karmakandi scholar and a popular poet.
Hans was survived by his son Shashi Bhushan Hans and three daughters.
