Himachal Pradesh’s Sujanpur Holi fair kicks off, CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu leads procession

Shimla: Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu led the procession as the three-day national-level Sujanpur Holi fair commenced in Hamirpur district on Wednesday.Sukhu performed the traditional puja at the historic Murali-Manohar temple in Sujanpur Tira and prayed for the prosperity and happiness of the people of the state. Earlier, the CM also took part in the ‘pagri' ceremony and led the procession of hundreds of participants from the historic Chaugan Maidan to Murali-Manohar temple.Sukhu also inaugurated various exhibitions, showcasing the achievements of different govt departments and HimIra products. He extended Holi greetings to the residents and said this festival symbolised unity, harmony, and cultural heritage. The CM said the Sujanpur Holi fair stood as a testament to the state's rich traditions and historical legacy.
