Justice Sabina of the high court dismissed their bail petitions after finding no merits in their arguments. They are presently lodged at central jail, Hisar.

These cases were registered at Barwala police station of Hisar district in November 2014 when Rampal's followers had resisted police action to arrest him in compliance of the high court orders.
Dr Hooda is also facing contempt of court case along with Rampal. He had also issued a medical certificate to Rampal on the basis of which the defiant preacher had failed to appear before the HC.
Another accused Shyam Sunder was also closely associated to Rampal. He claimed to have written a book in which serious allegations against members of subordinate judiciary in Haryana and the judges of high court were made. In their bail petition before the high court, both Hooda and Shyam Sunder had argued that they had no involvement in the charges for which they have been booked in the main case.
