Renu Bhatia, chairperson of Haryana Women’s Commission while sharing details with TOI said people are making contact with the commission to expose SP’s wrong deeds. “A person who made contact with me has been called to visit the commission's office along with proof against SP. He will not be spared if any wrong is found against him,” she said.

Notably, an anonymous letter of four pages had gone viral on October 25 which was signed by seven police women employees. This letter was emailed to chief minister Nayab Singh Saini, DGP and many other IPS officers seeking support in this matter.

Thereafter, another letter of two pages went viral on social media platforms in which police employees levelled serious sexual harassment allegations on SP along with the help of a DSP and SHO, both are female.

After social activists, political parties and people condemned the incident, the Haryana government transferred SP and subsequently DSP Geetika Jakhar and SHO Mukesh Rani as well.

Talking to TOI, Renu Bhatia said that apart from women police employees, accused DSP Geetika and sub-inspector Mukesh Rani, have been called for questioning on November 7 in Faridabad. The Women Commission will take firm action against whoever is found guilty in the case.
