CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police is providing all possible help to the Delhi Police in apprehending Ravi Kant Sharma, IPS, a prime suspect in Shivani Bhatnagar murder case so as to ensure that nobody is above law.

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police is providing all possible help to the Delhi Police in apprehending Ravi Kant Sharma, IPS, a prime suspect in Shivani Bhatnagar murder case so as to ensure that nobody is above law.
A police spokesman said here on Monday that Haryana Police provided police help to the officers and officials of Delhi Police whenever any request was received from them.

Quoting specific instances the spokesman said that the Haryana Police provided help for search of the house of Sharma on five different occasions, for joining in investigation and interrogation of his family members.
Haryana Police headquarters issued a "hue and cry notice" for immediate execution irrespective of the fact that the name and address was not correctly mentioned in warrant sent by Delhi Police. All the inspectors general of police in the ranges, all district superintendents of police and DIG/CID, Haryana were directed in writing through a crash message that Sharma, if found, be arrested and necessary action as per law must ensured.
Constant watch is being maintained in Haryana to find out the whereabouts of Sharma and in case he is traced anywhere in Haryana he shall be apprehended and handed over to Delhi Police, the spokesman said.
