<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">YAMUNANAGAR: Aman Kumar Nagra resigned from the Congress (I) in protest against denial of<br />ticket to him. Mr Nagra former Bahujan Samaj Party President Haryana state was elected to Parliament in 1998 when he won the election as a alliance candidate of BSP and Om Parkash Chautala party. <br /><br />In February 2003 Mr Nagra along with his thousand of workers had met Mrs Sonia Gandhi on the persuasion of Mr Bhajan Lal.

While addressing press conference here on Tuesday evening Mr Nagra said that when he joined Congress (I) he was assured the seat from Ambala Parliament will be allotted to him. He alleged that his name was not sent the panel for Ambala Parliament prepared by the Haryana Pradesh Congress (I).<br /><br />He said that he had formed Samaj Shakti Party after his resignation from BSP. Mr Nagra declared that by 5th of April he will meet his supporters and decide about future strategy. He announced that he will support those persons who will oppose the Congress candidate. He said that Congress has deprived him of the ticket for which the party will have to pay the price.<br /><br />Mr Nagra refused to comment as to which party he will join in future. He admitted that all political parties have sent him the feelers to join their party but he made it clear that his supporters would decide after 5th of April. He said that from tomorrow he will go to all the villages of Ambala Parliament constituency to have the suggestion from his supporters.<br /><br />Mr Nagra who was having soft corner for Bahujan Samaj Party said that he was ousted by the Party high command and if they ask him to re-join the party he will think on the same also.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
