Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar rides motorcycle on 'car free' day

KARNAL: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday rode a Bullet motorcycle from the circuit house to the airport as part of "car free" day in the city.


The CM had announced that Tuesdays would be designated as car free days in Karnal.



He personally set an example by riding a motorcycle and conveyed a message to combat pollution.

Manohar Lal began his ride from the circuit house at 8 am and reached the local airport.

Jagmohan Aanad, the media coordinator for the CM, mentioned that it is uncommon for chief ministers to ditch their official vehicles and ride a motorcycle. However, that's precisely what Haryana CM Manohar Lal did on Tuesday.
