YAMUNANAGAR: Ashok Sherwal, president Haryana Bahujan Samaj Party informed here on Wednesday that he had apprised about the political situation of the state to the party high command who would take decision about alliance with any political party in Haryana.
He said that the state executive committee had sent the penal about the candidates of six Parliament seats in Haryana, which includes Hisar, Ambala, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Mahendergarh and Karnal.
He said that the names of the candidates would be announced by the party high command.
Sherwal said that the party is in capacity to contest of its own but clarify that the options are open for alliance with any party in Haryana. He said that in politics no party is untouchable.
When asked about any development of alliance with Indian National Lok Dal, he said that he is in no capacity to speak at present and the high command will decide very shortly. He said that he has no information that INLD leaders had a meeting with BSP high command.
While reacting on the recent development on BJP-INLD broken alliance, Sherwal said that alliance was broken immediately after Assembly election of 2000. He said that the leaders of both the parties had constraint relation from the day one.
Supremo Haryana State BSP Unit declared that he would not contest Parliament election. He said that he would strengthen the party and will become number one party of the state after sometime. Sherwal informed that in last election in Haryana BSP got six percent of votes and now they have the capacity to increase it three times. He made it clear that people from different caste would be given tickets to contest Parliament election from BSP.
Sherwal stated that if at all there will be alliance with any political party in Haryana, they would claim five Parliament seats out of ten as the party has increased its wings manifold.
