AMBALA: Police on Wednesday registered a case of murder on the complaint of the father of a student of Jharkhand who studied in a private college of
Haryana's Ambala district
.
The incident dates back to March 16, 2018, when Pappu Kumar a second-year student of civil engineering of Hindustan Institute of Technology, Dhin village in Ambala died suspiciously. As per due procedure, his post-mortem was conducted then and his viscera were sent for medical examination.
Pappu is a resident of Amrapara Bazaar district Pakru in Jharkhand state.
Now after around 1.5 years, a case of murder has been registered on the basis of viscera examination reports.
On the complaint of Tun Tun Ji, Pappu’s father, a case against unknown accused under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Mullana police station.
