Golf: Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal tops qualifying round, to play in PGTI

With a score of 76 (4 over par), he managed to grab the top amateur slot for the tournament. The second slot went to Dilsher Grewal with a score of 81. Justice Grewal at 58 will perhaps be the oldest participant who will get to play with leading professional golfers from India and abroad.

CHANDIGARH: Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal of the Punjab and Haryana high court made the most of the high court, week-long Baisakhi vacation by qualifying for one of the two amateur slots at the Tata Steel PGTI Players Championship 2022 being organized by Chandigarh Golf Club.
With a score of 76 (4 over par), he managed to grab the top amateur slot for the tournament.

The second slot went to Dilsher Grewal with a score of 81. Justice Grewal at 58 will perhaps be the oldest participant who will get to play with leading professional golfers from India and abroad.
A graduate and post-graduate from the prestigious St.Stephen's College, Delhi and Law graduate from Delhi University, Justice Grewal is one of the senior judges of the HC.
A keen golfer, Justice Grewal was elevated as HC judge in 2014 from the bar.
He has also served as HC judge in the Rajasthan high court and serving in the Punjab and Haryana high court since 2016.
