BATHINDA: A girl student died while two others and driver sustained injuries when a private transport company bus hit the school van bar village Kaler in district Faridkot on Thursday morning.
The deceased girl student has been identified as Ekam from Kot Sukhia village. She was studying in standard IX.
The van of Shaheed Ganj public school Mudki, was taking the students to school that a bus hit it at village Kaler resulting in the death of Ekam.
The injured have been admitted at Guru Gobind Singh medical college hospital Faridkot.
Faridkot Deputy Commissioner Vinit Kumar and SSP Pragya Jain reached the spot and made the cops to take the injured to the hospital.
It is being said that the school van was entering on main road from some Link Road that the bus hit it.
