General alert on Indo-Pak border

hoshiarpur, punjab: a general alert has been sounded along the indo-pak border in view of the visit of pakistan president gen pervez musharraf, a senior bsf officer said on saturday. the indo-pak border in the state had been sealed and there had been no incident of infiltration, inspector general of punjab frontier of bsf a.s. aulakh told reporters at kharkan, 12 km from here.he said that work on fencing along 200 km-long indo-pak border in jammu and kashmir had commenced and added 15 km fencing had been completed.
