She had all the latest gadgets, and boasted of her PhD degree. She told her clients that she was an orthopedician.
An investigating police officer told TOI: "She owned the latest iPhone and loved sipping whiskey in the evenings, seated in front of her 42-inch wall-mounted television in her three-bedroom rented ground-floor accommodation in Sector 68 of Mohali."
The police officer said Gill was fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, and was offended if any of her clients referred to her as "aunty".

Mohali superintendent of police (detective) Bhupinder Singh Sidhu said, "The girls working for Dr Gill called her mummy. We are contacting the embassies of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to learn how visas were obtained by the girls.
