Bathinda: The various farmer unions have into the defence of CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, who allegedly slapped Bollywood actor turned MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport on Thursday. The farmer organisations have stated that they not justify the action of Kaur but what it should be looked into that why such situation arose.

The leaders of farmer groups say that the previous statement of Kangana Ranaut stating that the women used to come to farmer protests for money was intolerable and Kaur expressed her anger over it when she came face to face with Kangana at the airport. Farmer forum Kisan Mazdoor Morcha convened Saran Singh Pandher said that though we don’t justify her action but it is also needs to be looked into that why she expressed her anger. If anyone use wrong words for your mothers how it could be tolerated and it seems same happened with Kaur.

The brother of Kulwinder Kaur is associated with Kisan Mazdoor sanghsrsh committee.

Farmers group Punjab Kisan union president Ruldu Singh Mansa said that though Kulwinder Kaur should have restrained but she was made to express her anger. BJP leaders take no time in branding Punjabi’s as terrorists or naxalites which again is intolerable.

Avtar Singh Mehma, state press secretary of Krantikari Kisan union Punjab said we fully stand by Kulwinder and if any injustice was meted out to her then they will protest against it.

BKU Kadian too stood by the constable.
