MOHALI: Senior SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia surrendered in a court in

on Thursday after his interim bail ended on February 23.

Bikram Majithia was booked by Punjab Police in alleged multi-crore drugs racket. SIT was constituted by the Punjab government to probe the case.

Majithia was accompanied by his counsels senior advocate Cheema and HS Dhanoa.

"I am abiding by the orders of Supreme Court of India," said Majithia.

Earlier in January, Majithia while appearing before the SIT in drugs case said that he fears that he has been implicated in this case to keep him at bay from contesting the Vidhan Sabha elections.

Majithia appeared before the SIT for the third time at crime branch head quarters in Mohali on January 16.

Majithia also contested elections from Amritsar east.
