Police said the accused has been identified as Sarwar Khan, 42, a resident of Maloya. Police said a naka had been laid to keep a check on anti-social elements near the Maloya turn. The accused was coming from Sector 39 and had a polybag in his hand. As he saw the naka, he turned around and tried to flee, police said. Cops chased and caught him. As many as 24 vials of Buprenorphine and 15 vials of

Pheniramine

drug were found on him. The accused failed produce any licence or permit to the police.

Police said the accused told them that he used to buy these drugs from local chemist shops for Rs 50-80 and sold them to drug addicts for Rs 250-300. In the past 15 days, the
