Devinderpal Bhullar’s brother dies in US

Bathinda: Tejinderpal Singh Bhullar, the younger brother of Devinderpal Singh Bhullar, who is serving life sentence in the 1993 bomb blast in Delhi, passed away after prolonged illness in San Francisco in the US. Fifty-seven-year-old Tejinderpal Bhullar was suffering from cancer.The Bhullar family belonged to Dialpura Bhaika village in Bathinda district. The family shifted to the US and Canada a long back, and only distant relatives live in the village. Nine people were killed in the bomb blast in Delhi on Sept 11, 1993, and Devinderpal Singh Bhullar was convicted in the case. The death sentence of Devinderpal Singh Bhullar was commuted to life imprisonment by the Supreme Court on March 31, 2014. He is currently undergoing treatment at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, Amritsar.
