MOGA:
Dera Sacha Sauda on Sunday sought "strict action" against those responsible for attacking its followers at a congregation in Mehna area of the district and threatened to block traffic across Punjab.
The efforts of Akali MLA Tota Singh to broker peace between some radical Sikh groups and Dera failed today, following which the political affairs committee of the sect said that its followers will block roads across the state for two hours next week.
However, normalcy prevailed at Dhudike village as the area remained under a thick blanket of police force. The Dera appealed to the district administration to arrest accused identified in the FIR.
On November 26, a clash broke out between Dera Sacha Sauda followers and some residents of Dhudike village leaving several injured.
