Barmer Express, Sadbhawna Express, Lucknow-Chandigarh Express are other trains which reached over 7 hours late in Chandigarh.
Officials at the Chandigarh railway station said the long distance trains have been running late for last four days. The dense smog cover at Delhi has delayed all the trains, said an official.
On the other hand, there was not much change in flight timings on Saturday. An airport spokesperson said only four flights landed late. Indigo and Jet Airways/KLM from Mumbai landed 42 minutes and 35 minutes late, respectively, whereas Jet Airways and SpiceJet from New Delhi landed 15 and 24 minutes late, respectively.
