Day 3: Rap contest, dramatics event buoys PECFEST

Chandigarh: Following the spectacle of the first two days, the third day of

PECFEST

, the annual technical and cultural fest of PEC University of Technology, began on a high note with “Rap Battle” and “Rangmanch” – a dramatics event, one amongst the many which helped participants from universities to explore their talent.

Technical competitions like solar vision, code and go and glider attracted a great number of participants and gave them an opportunity to learn and win prizes as well.

Other highlights of the day included a session by NGO You We Can, which brought the social cause initiative of the fest into perspective; and a guest lecture on “The Curious Case of Racism” by Simarpreet Singh.

The fest also included a number of cultural events like “Wordict”, logo quiz, “Supershot”, “Bhangra Wars”, and the performance of various bands like “Quissa” and “Fazal”, which kept visitors engaged. One of the major annual events at PECFEST, the pageant competition Mr and Ms PECFEST was followed by the “Super Bike Show” which happened right inside the highly decorated campus of the institute.
