Daily wager found dead with rodent bite marks in Bathinda
Bathinda: A 30-year-old daily wager was found dead in a market corridor near the railway station here on Tuesday morning, with multiple rodent bite marks on his face and eyes. Police said the exact cause of death would be known after the postmortem.The man, who used to sleep in the ‘pata' market corridor along with other labourers, was alone on Monday night. NGO Naujawan Welfare Society president Sonu Maheshwari said the deceased had been unwell for the past few days.

Society members Aakash Garg and Saksham Maheshwari informed the police after spotting the body. As no identity documents were found, the body has been kept in the mortuary for identification.Police have initiated inquest proceedings.
