CPDL launches its own bill payment module

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) has launched its own digital payment module, enabling consumers to pay their electricity bills directly through the utility's website without incurring any payment gateway charges.A CPDL spokesperson said the facility is aimed at promoting digital payments by offering a faster, seamless and cost-free transaction experience. Consumers can make payments by using their Contract Account (CA) number or the old account number printed on their bill.Payments can be made by visiting the CPDL website or scanning the QR code provided on the bill. After entering the CA number and mobile number, the system automatically retrieves the bill amount, making the process quicker and hassle-free.
