CHANDIGARH: Hundreds of cops deployed on field were screened by a team of doctors of a private hospital in the city on Saturday. To ensure the safety of cops amid coronavirus scare, a team of doctors conducted medical checkup for policemen deployed in different parts of the city.
Nobody was found to be symptomatic or with high temperature during their medical checkup. Police department said all the police personnels would be thoroughly checked and if any cop displayed any symptoms of Covid-19, he or she would be sent in quarantine with immediate effect. Department has already announced that if anybody has symptoms of cough, cold and fever, then he will not be denied leave by the department.
