Cong’s Sonipat mayoral candidate files nomination

Sonipat: Congress candidate Kamal Diwan on Tuesday filed his nomination papers for the Sonipat municipal corporation mayoral election.He began the day with a havan at his Sector 14 residence and later held a roadshow to the Mini Secretariat. Supporters gathered along the route from Gohana Road to the nomination venue.Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda, state chief Rao Narender Singh and Sonipat MP Satpal Brahmachari jouned Diwan for submitting the papers to returning officer Ajay Chopra.
